  The Pakistan cricket team has reclaimed the number one spot in the ICC ODI rankings. They achieved this feat after whitewashing Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series in Hambantota, Sri Lanka. Pakistan won the first match by 8 wickets, the second match by 7 wickets, and the third match by one wicket. This gave them a total of 118.48 rating points, which is just 0.48 points more than Australia, who are in second place. This is Pakistan's first time at the top of the ODI rankings since 2016.
